1.Characters
CPP is a thermoplastic resin produced by the chlorination of polypropylene. It is a non-toxic white or light yellow granular solid and can be easily dissolved in organic solvents such as halogenated hydrocarbons, toluene, butanone or other mixed solvents. And it has high hardness and good properties of wear-resistance, acid-resistance, salt water resistance and aging- resistance. Depending on the chlorine content, its melting point is generally 80-160℃, decomposition temperature is 70-160℃. Products with low chlorine content begin to decompose slowly above 40℃, and the decomposition rate is extremely rapid above 70℃. It has a wide application in paints, coatings , composite inks and adhesives industry.
2.Application:
KeTian CPP has excellent adhesion to the surface of polypropylene, also has good adhesion to polyethylene, paper, lead mold and other materials, and its hardness, wear resistance, salt and water resistance and anti-aging are good, so it is widely used in paints, coatings, inks, plastic and metal adhesives,etc. In particular, it is widely used in the production of packaging industry printing double-layer PP film, PP film-paper, PP film-aluminum and other composite printing ink. In addition, it is also used in paint color carrier and water repellent. KeTian CPP is also used in flame retardants because it has chlorine atoms in its molecular chains.
Its main usages are as follows:
Ø Primer for plastic substrates for automobiles (bumpers, interior parts, wheel cap, etc)
Ø Inks binder for film (gravure /silk-screen printings)
Ø Adhesives for plastic molded containers and food wrapping film
Ø Primer for construction, paints,coatings and adhesives
KeTian CPP with various chlorine content, viscosity and molecular weight can be selected depending on the use, purpose and conditions
3. Packaging and storage:
Net weight is 20KG per carton. Store at room temperature and dry. This product belongs to non-dangerous goods and has stable chemical properties.
