Chloroprene Rubber CR244
Introduction:
Chloroprene Rubber is a synthetic rubber produced by α-polymerization of chloroprene (i.e. 2-chloro-1,3-butadiene) as the main raw material. It is widely used in anti-weathering products, viscose soles, and coatings. and rocket fuel. Appearing as milky white, beige or light brown flakes or blocks, it is an elastomer produced by α-polymerization of chloroprene (i.e. 2-chloro-1,3-butadiene) as the main raw material. The solubility parameter of chloroprene rubber accounts for δ=9.2~9.41. Soluble in toluene, xylene, dichloroethane, trivanadium, slightly soluble in acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, cyclohexane, insoluble in n-hexane, solvent gasoline, but soluble in appropriate proportions of good solvents and A mixed solvent composed of a poor solvent and a non-solvent or a poor solvent and a non-solvent, which swells in vegetable oil and mineral oil without dissolving.
It has good physical and mechanical properties, oil resistance, heat resistance, flame resistance, sunlight resistance, ozone resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and chemical reagent resistance. The disadvantage is poor cold resistance and storage stability.
It has high tensile strength, elongation, reversible crystallinity and good adhesion. Resistant to aging and heat. Excellent oil and chemical resistance. Weather resistance and ozone aging resistance are second only to ethylene propylene rubber and butyl rubber. The heat resistance is equivalent to that of nitrile rubber, with a decomposition temperature of 230 to 260°C, short-term resistance to 120 to 150°C, and long-term use at 80 to 100°C. It has certain flame retardancy. Oil resistance is second only to nitrile rubber. Good resistance to inorganic acid and alkali corrosion.
CR122 type neoprene: transmission belts, conveyor belts, wires and cables, oil-resistant rubber sheets, oil-resistant hoses, sealing materials and other rubber products.
CR232 type neoprene: cable sheathing, oil-resistant hose, rubber seals, adhesives, etc.
CR244 chloroprene rubber: raw material for adhesive production, used for bonding metal, wood, rubber, leather, fiber, cement products and other materials.
CR248 chloroprene rubber: This product has the same properties as 244. It can be graft-copolymerized with reactive monomers such as methyl methacrylate (MMA) and acrylic acid (BA) to improve the bonding performance of neoprene adhesives to synthetic materials such as PVC, PU, and EVA.
CR321 322 type neoprene: cables, rubber sheets, ordinary and oil-resistant hoses, oil-resistant rubber boots, air guides, rain cloths, tent cloths, conveyor belts, conveyor belts, rubber seals, agricultural capsule air cushions, lifeboats, etc. Used as a toughening agent for modified acrylic fast structure adhesives (SGA).
